I have this article assigned for homework, and it made me think.
Through trying to test the limits of our brain to top it
with computers, we may just be realizing that the brain cannot be topped. We may
come that much closer to understanding it, but in our understanding we may find
that it is ultimately non-understandable, beyond the realm of understanding.
Through the competition of events we find the beauty behind the brain, we test
its metal, revealing a goliath of an organ that none of our david’s can best
because this time, God is on their side.
The complex structure of the brain may just show how God
cannot be bested, how his ways really are higher than our ways, as the heavens
are higher than the earth. However powerful google execs may think that they are,
God is infinitely more powerful. His ways cannot be understood; they can only
be known enough to realize their unknowability.
